The Survey Says - We Have a Great Staff!

Sometimes our residents need to move away from Lexington Heights for various factors in their lives. We're always sad to see them go and we are very interested in hearing from them how they viewed their experience at Lexington Heights. Often we've found that our wonderful former residents are sad to be moving on, and they have fond memories of their time at Lexington Heights Apartments. Here are some former resident survey responses that we have received in the past few months.

David
“Beautiful area and very nice living space. Staff was always helpful and friendly. Will miss it!”

Taylor & Bridget
“The management staff was always nice and very helpful. The community events were lots of fun."

Yogeeta & Devendra
“Liked the cleanliness, maintenance, party room and game room”

Michael
“I knew right away from the first day I moved in that this was as excellent apartment complex. Management staff assisted during my recovery surgery. They went above what was expected. Management and staff are the best!”

David
“The most courteous staff I have ever encountered! From the beginning to the end of my lease. Staff is very understanding and quick to respond to any issue, big or small."

With a track record like this, it's no wonder that our leasing staff has filled Lexington Heights to 100% occupancy again!

Dessert Night 2013 at Lexington Heights

Thank you to all of our wonderful residents who came to our annual Dessert Night earlier this week. We had a wonderful time and hope you did too! The Dessert Night is one of the fun events we like to host to show our appreciation for our residents. It's a great way to catch up with each of you and for you to meet your neighbors. Plus, it's a great way to get a sugar high.

This year's menu included some fun savory appetizer snacks in addition to all the usually scrumptious cookies, cupcakes, and other desserts. We look forward to seeing you all at our Dessert Night next year!

Here's some photos we took from the event, enjoy!

Congrats To Alissa, Our December Early Bird Winner

Congratulations to Alissa, she is the winner of our Early Bird Drawing this month! We do this drawing every month and you have a chance to be the winner if you pay your rent on or before the 1st of the month. Everyone who pays their rent on or before the 1st of the month gets their name put into the Early Bird Drawing. Out of that pool of entrants a random name is selected and the lucky winner gets $50 off of rent for the following month.

So, when January’s rent comes around, remember the Early Bird Drawing and turn in your rent payment early. We all know what the Early Bird gets... that's right, a chance to get $50 off of rent the next month!

The Winter Evergreen Container Workshop - Creative And Fun!

Recently we held a winter evergreen container decorating workshop in our Party Room here at Lexington Heights Apartments. The turnout was wonderful and it was such a fun evening. We would like to thank each and every one of you that made the effort to come out to the class.

Participants were provided with a patio garden tub filled with sand and a fun assortment of evergreens and other decorations. Jeremiah, our workshop instructor, shared with the class some tips for designing and decorating the evergreen displays. We were so impressed with the beautiful arrangements that everyone came up with!

Plus, we love seeing your winter evergreen containers around the community. You are helping make Lexington Heights festive through this winter season.

Lexington Heights Residents Wed On 11-12-13 In The Party Room

Yesterday was a very special day for two of our residents here at Lexington Heights Apartments. Alan and Wendy were married right here in our Party Room. They couldn't have picked a better date - no doubt their anniversary of 11-12-13 will be very easy to remember!

Alan and Wendy love spending time on their motorcycle and grilling outdoors. For their honeymoon they are going to the hottest city in the U.S. - Las Vegas!

From all the staff here at Lexington Heights, we wish these two love-birds years of happiness and love! Congratulate them if you see the newlyweds around Lexington Heights.

November Neighbors - Meet Our Great New Residents

We have some great new neighbors joining us here at Lexington Heights this month. At the start of November we had six new residents move into our apartment community. They were all kind enough to smile for the camera (thank you!) and share a little about themselves with the rest of us.

First up is Ashton, who moved to Lexington Heights Apartments for a shorter commute to work and school.

Alex also recently moved to Lexington Heights. He was referred to us by Charles, another resident who lives here. Alex chose our apartment community because he could be close to his friends and his work. A big thank-you to Charles for referring Alex! Don't forget, we give a referral bonus to our residents who refer new residents to us - so tell your friends and family about how much you like it here!

Next up is Coleen and Tristan, who moved here from Arkansas. That's a long way to move! Coleen accepted a job transfer that she is very excited about, and that brought them to Minnesota.

Our last profile (but not least!) is Trevor. He and his fiance chose Lexington Heights Apartments because they both started new jobs and thought our location would be convenient for their commutes. They have plenty on their plates however, aside from moving in - they are getting married later this month and are busy planning and getting ready for their big day! Congratulations to you both!

Way Too Cute - Lexington Heights Kids and Their Halloween Costumes

We don't have a lot of kids at Lexington Heights, but the ones we do have make up for it by being super cute. Especially when they get all dressed up for Halloween. Here's some photos of the kids of Lexington Heights trick-or-treating around our apartment community.

Welcome Ray To Lexington Heights

We would like to welcome Ray to Lexington Heights. Ray has been living on the MSP Metro Area area for a couple of years. He moved to Lexington Heights Apartments to be closer to work. Ray enjoys being a dad and spending time with his friends when he’s not busy at work.

We find that a lot of our residents like our location. It's a short trip into St. Paul or Minneapolis from here, with several freeways that can be quickly accessed from Lexington Heights.

Say “Hello!” if you see Ray around our community.

Your New Neighbor Likes To Run

We have a new neighbor here at Lexington Heights - Catherine just moved here a few days ago. Catherine's favorite thing to do outside of work is to run and participate in organized 5k runs.

We think Lexington Heights is a great place for her to make her home because we have so many great trails and places to run nearby. The City of Mendota Heights trail system runs right in front of Lexington Heights and connects to regional trail networks, such as the Big Rivers Regional Trail.

Please join us in welcoming Catherine to our community here at Lexington Heights by saying hello when you see her around!

With summer here, be sure to take advantage of all the great outdoor amenities we have to offer here at Lexington Heights. Our wonderful pool is open and the grills are ready to go.

Some of our residents have already been out playing in the sun - check out our synchronized cannon-ball team and chef-extraordinaire Susan grilling up some fabulous burgers.

Spring Breakfast A 'Sweet Success'

The whole staff here at Lexington Heights wants to thank our residents for coming out and joining us this past Thursday morning for the Spring Breakfast. We had a wonderful time visiting with our residents and we were glad to have the chance to catch up with each of you. Plus, there were some rather tasty donuts and muffins involved!

The Spring Breakfast is one of our annual Resident Appreciation events, we got up early and in each building's lobby we served up a continental breakfast of donuts, muffins, fruit, juice, and Caribou coffee. We think our residents are important, and it's one way we can show our appreciation that you chose to live at Lexington Heights Apartments.

Check out some of the photos we snapped at the breakfast, we've posted them below and on our Facebook page.

Karen Moves Back To Lexington Heights

Join us in welcoming Karen back to Lexington Heights! She lived here for a year and then moved out to take care of her mother in Inver Grove Heights. She missed living at Lexington Heights so much that she decided to move back. We're very glad to have her rejoin our community. We always like it when our former residents decide to return. It reaffirms that Lexington Heights is a great place to live.

If you see Karen around be sure to tell her welcome back!
