Some Things Are Very Concrete

Work on the pool deck is progressing well. Almost all of of the concrete for the resurfaced pool deck has been poured. We snapped a photo of the crew working hard to get the concrete laid before it gets too cold!

Coming Soon To Lexington Heights: A Beautiful New Pool Deck

A week back you may have heard the jackhammers, or even now hear the Bobcat front-loader operating at Lexington Heights. We're in the process of building a new pool deck for your 2013 pool season! We've had quite a few projects this summer as we continue to make Lexington Heights a beautiful and well-maintained place to live.

Recently Ryan built two new retaining walls near the 2300 and 2370 buildings, after he had ripped out some overgrown arborvitae trees near the tennis courts. Then, on the first day of the pool being closed Evan, Brent, and Ryan leaped into the pool deck rebuilding project. The first step was to use a jackhammer to break up the old pool deck. Now the crew is working on laying drain piping and rebuilding the retaining wall before the new cement is put down.

Soon they'll wrap up this project and we'll have a beautiful new pool deck to enjoy next summer.

Pool Season About To End

Labor Day is just around the corner, and that means that pool season is drawing to a close at Lexington Heights. So don't forget to get your final splashes into the pool this weekend before the season ends. The pool will be closing on Tuesday, September 4th. We hope you've had a fun Summer, and that the pool helped provide relaxation and enjoyment.

Poolside Party Provides Plenty Of Amoozment

Last Monday Lexington Heights celebrated its wonderful residents by hosting its annual Poolside Party BBQ. We were happy to see so many of our residents come down for the evening and get to know each other and have a good time. The bovine themed party this year featured beef hamburgers, beef hot dogs, and ice cream with just about every topping you could imagine! The event was a great success and we had a fun time visiting with our residents.

David and Ava were the happy winners of the drawing for the gift basket. Some of the prizes included a BBQ cookbook and tickets to the MN State Fair! They're looking forward to going to the fair!

Four Weekends Left For Pool Season

Be sure to take time to enjoy the pool at Lexington Heights, the season is winding down in just a few weeks. The pool is scheduled to be closed for the season after Labor Day weekend. This weekends forecast look just beautiful and perfect for relaxing at the pool. The pool is open 10:00AM to 10:00PM everyday. Enjoy the swimming and sunning while you can!

Recently the pool saw some lively action with some kids visiting for a birthday party for one of our residents. We snapped a few photos of them having fun in the pool.

Labor day weekend has passed and pool season is officially over at Lexington Heights. The weather report is calling for warm and sunny days through the rest of week, so you may still be able to get in another poolside session before our maintenance crew has a chance to close it for the season. Otherwise, you can take advantage of these beautiful days for a last chance to grill up some summer treats. See you outside this week!

New pool fence completed

Our carpenters, Robert, Jay, and Brent, worked hard last week to put up a new fence around the pool and did a great job. Be sure to stop by and admire their handiwork!
