– S’mores Day
Did you know you can make S’mores in the oven? Just take a baking sheet, line with foil,
assemble s’mores without the top graham cracker and bake until marshmallows are
soft and chocolate starts to melt (you have to watch these closely it doesn't
take long at all) then just take out of the oven, top with the other graham
cracker and enjoy!
August 31st
– Trail Mix Day
Plan a little fun activity with the kids or even a small
family get-together and have a trail mix bar.
Everyone brings their own container to take home and they can create
their own trail mix wither they want to indulge in the sweets or get a nice
variety of healthy nuts and seeds to start their diet off right.
Prices: Adults (13-64): $12, Seniors (65 & over): $10, Kids (5-12): $10, Children (Under 5): Free!
It’s almost a requirement to be a good “Minnesotan” to
attend the State Fair every year and don’t we love it! Get ready for lots of fun, good entertainment
and the food; oh the food, there’s nothing like it.
