The annual Halloween bonfire at Mendota Plaza got the green light and will be held on October 31, 7:00PM- 9:00PM. The Mendota Heights Fire Department will be serving up free hot dogs and soda, and local businesses will be giving out goodie bags! The bonfire tradition is a safe and fun alternative to trick-or-treating.Previously the bonfire had been placed on hold due to a dry weather fire ban.
