Mendota Heights will be holding its annual "Mendota Heights Celebrates Parks" festival this weekend. This is the 25th anniversary year since the city began hosting this community get-to-gether. From June 1 through June 3 there will be a variety of events and activities that you and the kids can get out and enjoy. Looking at the pleasant weather forecast, you'll definitely want to be outside and enjoying the festival.
The weekend is packed with events to showcase the city. Tomorrow night catch some free music at the Market Square where Fu-Ga-We tribe will be playing their family-friendly set from 6:30PM to 9:00PM. For the golfers in your family, starting Friday night at 8:20PM, the Mendota Heights Par 3 is having a night golf event. You will receive a glow necklace and play a glowing golf ball with hole markers. It’s an experience you have to try! Sign up for the event online.
Saturday, from 11:00AM to 2:00PM at Mendakota park there will be a petting zoo, concessions, games, plus information on staying active, which will keep everyone entertained. Curious what the police department looks like? You can take a tour of the Mendota Heights Police Department on Sunday from Noon until 4:00PM. The Mendota Heights Police Department is celebrating their 50th anniversary this summer.
